Porting your phone number from Cliniq Apps, or any other service provider, involves transferring your existing phone number to a different carrier or service provider. Follow this step-by-step guide to successfully complete the process:

1. Prepare Your Current Account Information

Before you begin, make sure you have the following details from your Cliniq Apps account:

  • Company ID: Find this in your Cliniq Apps settings under Profile.

  • Phone Number(s): Ensure you have the exact phone number(s) you wish to port.

  • Account Number: Contact Cliniq Apps support to obtain your account number.

  • PIN/Password: Some carriers may require a PIN or password for porting. If you don’t have one, contact Cliniq Apps support to retrieve it.

  • Service Address: Contact Cliniq Apps support to confirm your service address on file.

2. Choose a New Service Provider

Decide which carrier or service provider you want to port your number to. Ensure the provider supports number porting and that your phone number is eligible for transfer.

3. Contact the New Carrier

Initiate the porting process by contacting your new carrier. Be ready to provide the following:

  • Your phone number(s) and company ID (account number, PIN/password).

  • A formal request to port your number(s) from Cliniq Apps.

Your new carrier will then contact Cliniq Apps to initiate the porting process. There's no need to cancel your old service beforehand.

4. Do Not Cancel Your Current Service with Cliniq Apps

Do not cancel your Cliniq Apps service before the porting process is complete. Cancelling prematurely may result in the loss of your phone number, and the porting process may fail.

5. Wait for the Porting Process to Complete

Porting can take anywhere from a few hours to a few business days, depending on the providers involved. Your new carrier will notify you once the porting is successful.

During this time, you may experience brief service interruptions. However, your Cliniq Apps service should remain active until the port is finalized.

6. Confirm the Port is Successful

Once porting is complete, make sure to:

  • Verify that your phone number is active with your new provider.

  • IMPORTANT: Confirm that your Cliniq Apps service has been deactivated.

7. Follow Up with Cliniq Apps

If you experience any issues with the porting process or if you’re charged for services you no longer use, reach out to Cliniq Apps’ customer support to resolve any outstanding issues.

Tips to Keep in Mind:

  • Timing: Porting typically takes a few days, but this can vary depending on the providers.

  • Billing: Double-check if you owe any final payments to Cliniq Apps before or after the porting process.

  • No Porting Fee: In most cases, Cliniq Apps should not charge a fee for porting your number. However, it’s wise to confirm this before you start.
