Step-by-Step Guide to Setting Up Referral Automation
1. Create an Effective Email Template
To encourage promoters to refer others, start by crafting a compelling email. Below is a sample template:

Hi {FIRSTNAME},
Thank you for trusting us with your care! We’re thrilled that you had a great experience and gave us a high rating.
As a token of our appreciation, we’re offering a special voucher for you and a friend! Simply present this email to the reception when you arrive for your appointment to claim your reward.

2. Set Up Automation in Cliniq Apps
Step 1: Create a New Automation
Go to Automations and click Create New Automation.
Name your automation clearly, e.g., New Patient Acquisition (avoid special characters).
Select an Unsubscription Category (e.g., “A” for easy management).
Choose Satisfaction Follow-up (Promoters) as the automation type.
Select One-Time Automation (this ensures patients only receive the referral request once).
Click Continue.
Step 2: Target the Right Patients
Click SELECT and choose Patients with Appointments.
Select either a specific clinic location or All Locations.
Click the green AND button, then select Patient Satisfaction Score.
Set the score between 9 and 10.
Step 3: Configure the Email Communication
Click THEN, then select Communicate with my patient.
Click THEN again and select Communicate with patient.
Choose Send Email.
Select the email template you created earlier.
Set the delay to 1 hour after giving the score (this ensures immediate follow-up while the experience is still fresh).
Click Apply Changes.
Click Save Automation.
