Managing your email templates should be as seamless as possible. This guide walks you through the process of exporting your HTML email template from Mailchimp and importing it into Cliniq Apps, ensuring your campaigns look exactly the way you want them.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure that you have:

  • A Mailchimp account with the template you want to export.

  • A Cliniq Apps account with access to the email editor.

  • A text editor (like Notepad on Windows or TextEdit on macOS) to open and copy the HTML file.

Step 1: Export Your Mailchimp Template

  1. Create or Open Your Template:
Log in to your Mailchimp account and either create a new email template or select an existing one from your Templates section.

  2. Export the HTML:
Once your template is ready, click on the Export HTML option. Mailchimp will download an HTML file to your computer.

Step 2: Prepare the HTML Code

  1. Open the HTML File:
Locate the downloaded HTML file on your computer and open it using a plain text editor (for example, Notepad).

  2. Copy the Code:
In the text editor, select all of the code by pressing Ctrl+A (or Cmd+A on macOS) and then copy it with Ctrl+C (or Cmd+C).

Step 3: Import into Cliniq Apps

  1. Access Your Cliniq Apps Email Editor:
Log in to your Cliniq Apps account and navigate to the email section where you want to apply the template.

  2. Switch to Source Code Mode:
In the email editor, click on the Source Code icon. This will allow you to see and edit the underlying HTML of your email.

  3. Paste Your HTML Code

    • Copy the Code: Ensure you’ve already copied the HTML from your Mailchimp-exported file (opened in a text editor like Notepad).

    • Paste the Code: Click inside the source code window and paste your HTML using Ctrl+V (or Cmd+V on macOS).

  4. Save and Preview:
Save your changes and preview the email to confirm that the template appears as expected.

Following these detailed steps will help ensure your email template is correctly imported and displays properly in Cliniq Apps.
