To ensure privacy, your patient treatment notes on your Cliniko can only be accessed by the provider who issues them and your Cliniko account administrator (generally, the manager of the clinic).

In the software language, this means that every provider has his/her own API key. To make sure that the patient form submissions are accessible to the appropriate provider, we recommend to fill the API key of each of your providers in Cliniq Apps.

Follow these steps:

  • Let the practitioner login into their Cliniko account

  • Go to info

  • Generate a new API key then copy it (use Ctrl+C or Command+C on your keyboard)

  • Login to Cliniq Apps then go to Settings and click on Practitioners and scroll down.

  • Paste the API key in the correspondent provider (use Ctrl+P or Command+P on your keyboard)

  • Click Save

Do that for all practitioners.

This will allow Cliniq Apps to fill the submissions of the patient forms in patient profile on Cliniko and make sure that the provider of this patient can access these results.

Your provider should be set as active provider on Cliniko (in Settings -> Users & Practitioners)

If you have any questions, please chat with us in your Cliniq Apps we messenger.

Enjoy growing your practice!
