This article provides instruction on how to reach out to your promoters, i.e. the patients who are the most satisfied with you, to grow your practice (If you haven't been sending satisfaction surveys yet, please check this article: Patient satisfaction new patients)
These promoters have given you a score between 9 and 10 after receiving the patient satisfaction survey. Now, you can ask them to give you a referral on Google or send them a voucher for them and their friends. The promoters are the people who will drive the word of mouth.

Below is the step by step guide on how to setup the Referral Automation.
1. Messages: Go to Message Templates
Create one Email and you may use the script below.
Subject: READ: Share the love – refer someone and get 20% off you next appointment!
Hi {FIRSTNAME},
Thank you for being a great advocate of ours.
We would like to offer a 20% discount to you and anyone that you would refer us to.
All you need is to show this email on reception to get your discount.
Your Clinic Name.
2. Click on Automation Rules and Click on New Automations
Then:
Name the Automation for your reference.
Select unsubscription category
Select unsubscription automation type. For information about automation categorization and type click HERE.
Select the iteration of the automation
Click Continue to proceed to the next steps
Click the SELECT button and choose Patients with Appointments
Select the clinic location and click the and button
Then choose their patient satisfaction score
Set it to 9 to 10 and click then
Select communicate with patient -> send email> select the message that you created
And set the timing of the message to 1 hour later.
Click on Apply Changes
Then Save Automation
To start the automation simply click the PLAY ▶️ button.
When you activate this automation, your promoters who gave you a satisfaction score between 9 and 10 will receive an email with the voucher for them and for their friends. This will increase the acquisition of new patients and retain the existing ones.
