Follow the instructions below to ensure that your patients will receive an SMS reminder 2 days prior their appointments.
1. Message Templates: Create Appointment Confirmation Message.
Select Appointment Confirmation+ and you may use the script below:
Hi {FIRSTNAME}, we look forward to seeing you at {NEXT_LOCATION} on {NEXT_START}. Please confirm your appointment by clicking on the link below.

2. Click on Automation Rules and Click on New Automations
Then:
Name the Automation for your reference.
Select unsubscription category
Select unsubscription automation type. For information about automation categorization and type click HERE.
Select the iteration of the automation
Click Continue to proceed to the next steps
Click the SELECT button and choose Patients with Appointments
Select the clinic location and click the and button
Then choose their appointment
And set it to more than 2 days remain before next appointment then click the and button
Then set the appointment date to between 2 days in the future and 3 days in the future. Once done, click the then button to proceed to the next steps.
Select communicate with patient -> send appointment confirmation+ -> select the appointment confirmation that you setup
And set it to 15 minutes later
Click on Apply Changes
Then Save Automation
To start the automation simply click the PLAY button.
When you Run this automation, your patients will receive the SMS 2 days prior next appointment.
